How do I cancel my account?
Clients can request cancellation of any of their products & services directly from the client area. The process runs as follows:
You may also raise a billing ticket from your client portal requesting cancellation of any product / service.
- Login to your client area
- Click Request Cancellation button on the product details page in your client area
- You are prompted to provide a cancellation reason and provided with 2 choices for the cancellation - either Instant or at the End of the Current Billing Cycle. Instant cancellation is normally approved within 24 hrs.
- If a matching domain exists under the client's account in active status with Auto Renew enabled, you are given the option to disable auto renew too - thereby leaving the domain to expire.
- Any unpaid invoices for the product will be cancelled
You can request the cancellation of a service prior to 25 days of expiry of the service. Beyond that date, the cancellation will be registered but will only take effect at the end of the period for which your services will have been tacitly renewed.
By default, the cancellation is effective on the last day of the billing cycle.
If after placing a cancelation request you wish to withdraw the cancelation request, please raise a billing request. The billing team will try to stop the cancelation but if the request is received too late then it may not be possible.
Please note domains do not need to be cancelled and there is no facility in the client area for it as well. Domains automatically get deleted after a set number of days after the expiry date depending on the TLD i.e. .com or .in or .biz etc. unless they are renewed in time.
